Work Samples
Here are a few examples of my compositions:
1. Her Anthem
Composed for large orchestra and choir, Her Anthem was recorded in May 2024 by an 84-piece orchestra at the Bulgarian National Radio and a 20-member choir at Sofia Session Studio, both in Sofia, Bulgaria. Inspired by the 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran, the piece is a musical tribute to both the resilience and defiance of women, as well as their soft-hearted, nurturing nature. It centers on the development of a simple melodic idea, gradually expanded and transformed throughout the work.

4. CHILL, BRUH!
Scored for a standard-size orchestra, CHILL, BRUH! was recorded in April 2024 by the 52-piece European Recording Orchestra at the Bulgarian National Radio in Sofia. A re-score of the animated short A Brief Disagreement by Steve Cutts, the piece blends humor with vibrant orchestral color to match the film’s quirky and chaotic narrative. Additionally, CHILL, BRUH! was performed live in March 2025 by the Vratsa Symphony Orchestra in Bulgaria.

2. Ein Licht durch die Tränen
This Lied was composed for a mezzo-soprano voice and small orchestra as part of my Master’s thesis and recorded in August 2024 at Doli Media Studio in Sofia. Focused on harmony—specifically experimenting with the Neo-Riemannian Theory— Ein Licht durch die Tränen explores emotional transformation through harmonic progression.

A piece written for Bulgarian traditional instruments and singers, accompanied by a string orchestra. It was performed in February 2024 featuring legendary Bulgarian musicians, including the celebrated gadulka player Hristina Beleva. The idea behind this piece is a fictional story of a mother in a Bulgarian village singing a folk lullaby to her baby. Lullaby is a hybrid piece, including virtual instruments and sound design. It stands as a hybrid musical narrative that bridges Balkan traditional music and western orchestral music.
